History of Tanzania, Lloma

Our Tanzania Blend is the result of the collaborative efforts of Iloma AMCOS, an agricultural cooperative founded in 2011 by the Iyela Farmer Group. With the establishment of central processing units and their inclusion in Iloma AMCOS, the cooperative has flourished. Named after the villages of Mufaumbo and Iloma, the cooperative sources water from the Vidawa river and implements gravity pipes for sustainability. Led by esteemed chairman Rashid Shikombola, Iloma AMCOS supports the community by providing services such as truck rentals and electricity. Additionally, City Mills, owned by Neumann Kaffee Gruppe, promotes agricultural education through a coffee club at Msankwi secondary school. In 2020, Iloma expanded its processing methods to include naturals alongside fully-washed lots.
